County Addressing

911 Addressing System/General Information

A county address is required for all structures where a sanitary permit is issued. An application and a $100.00 fee must be received at the Zoning Department before an address can be determined.

Once a number has been established, the sign unit shall be placed on either side of the driveway, at the road right-of-way. Placement shall be so that each blade is perpendicular to the road and so that numbers are in plain view. (See diagram.)

Discretion should be used where strict compliance with the above standards cannot be met. Assistance from the township or County Sanitarian will be available for any site where a question arises.

Call Diggers Hotline at 1-800-242-8511 before installing.
